Never XEROX another Phone List!
2006 Note:  This isn't quite as stupid as it may seem.
This was done in 1998!  Then, as now, many departments and groups printed phone lists that were obsolete before they were distributed.

This was done using Microsoft's remote scripting.  This technology avoided postbacks!  Sounds like AJAX doesn't it?
This has been made to work in original form. (IE only)
I will revisit this as a test bed for building a browser-independent, remote scripting enabled .asp system.

Tired of having out-of-date phone lists?   Use the web and a desk-top browser to deliver up-to-date phone data to the employee's desktop.

Database Driven.  Change the database and all the lists are up-to-date.   Change the data via client/server interface or the web.  If your phone system exports data, import it into the directory.

Search by Name.  Limit search by Location and Department, if known.   Order the list to suit.

Optional Full List.  The entire phonebook or departmental pages may be printed from the dynamically generated pdf image.

Security?  No Problem.   Access can be controlled by domain, ip, or password.   Printing of the entire list may be individually enabled.   User update (coming soon), may be limited.

Sorry, the Netscape version of this is not on-line.
Try IE5 or check back later.
